Travis Fales, DPT, Clinic Director

Travis is the clinic director in Catonsville at Chesapeake Physical and Aquatic Therapy. Born and raised in Elkridge, Maryland, Travis is the younger of two children. From a young age, he has been very interested in sports, playing lacrosse and football throughout his high school career. Travis continued his love for football playing in college, and most recently received hall of fame status for football at Atholton High School.

In high school, Travis injured himself playing football and needed shoulder surgery. Following surgery, he required physical therapy, which sparked his passion for the profession. Travis received both his undergraduate in health science and doctorate in physical therapy from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania. During his graduate work, he participated in his college's free physical therapy clinic for the locally uninsured. He enjoys working with all types of orthopedic and sports medicine patient populations, especially high school athletes and golfers. Travis combines his athletic experience with his clinical knowledge to rehabilitate injuries and improved their athletic performance beyond prior ability.

Travis is skilled in using manual therapy interventions to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and has a strong commitment to providing the highest level of quality and individualized care. Travis is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Orthopedic Section of the APTA. Travis is constantly continuing his education with weekend courses and conferences.

Travis enjoys many things in his free time. During hunting season, he takes every opportunity he gets to deer hunt. He also enjoys watching sports, especially football. Travis is an avid golfer, as well. He has participated in the Deep Creek Dunk the past 5 years to help raise money for Maryland Special Olympics and always tries to help the local community.
